What do
you believe?

summary of our beliefs here.
What
Should I expect on my first visit?
As a young,
growing church we value our friendly, family-oriented
atmosphere. A friendly and helpful usher will greet you when you
arrive at our facility in the Brookhollow Business Park. The usher will
escort you to our Welcome Center where you can enjoy fresh coffee and
donuts before the service begins.
During the
service you will enjoy singing wonderful time-tested hymns. The focus
of our worship is a clear, practical, and inspiring Bible message from
Pastor Gehlken. The service is a little more than an hour in
length and you are invited to connect with new friends in our Welcome
Center before and after each service.
If you have any
questions during your visit please feel free to ask any usher or Pastor
Gehlken.
Where do
I take my children?
Starting with
loving, safe, and clean nurseries, youth ministry is very important at
Central Baptist Church. Children twelve and under enjoy a fun,
Bible-centered class during the Sunday AM Worship Service and a
challenging Kid's Klub on Thursday nights.
As a new
church, we have limited resources, but
not a limited vision to equip our young people with the skills they
need to succeed in the Christian life. We believe ministering to youth
is the cornerstone of building healthy and happy Christian homes of
tomorrow. We offer age-targeted youth classes and activities, and
partner with other churches of like-faith to provide camps and other
faith-building adventures.
What
about my teens?
At this time,
teens worship with the adults in our main services. Additionally, we
are building a teen ministry which will provide safe, Christ-centered
activities and connections. At Central Baptist Church, we have a deep
passion to partner with you to help your teenagers succeed in all areas
of life during these crucial years.
How
should I dress?
We do not have
a dress code for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of
our church family dress in more traditional "Sunday" dress - the men in
a dress shirt and dress slacks, typically with a tie, and the women in
modest dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and
comfortable during your visit here at Central Baptist!
Who is
Pastor Gehlken?
Pastor Aaron
Gehlken started Central Baptist Church in 2009 after serving as a
military officer and owning his own consulting firm. You can read more
about Pastor Gehlken here.
Am
I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No.
We don't invite you to Central Baptist Church for your offering. We
want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this
place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where
you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to
participate in the offering as a guest.
Other
questions?
If we've missed
something on this list, just give us a call, or ask
someone when you arrive. Whether you're new to the area and looking for
a church home, or if it's been a long time since you've attended church
at all, we hope your first visit at Central Baptist will be awesome! We
exist to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to
meeting you personally. We hope you'll feel right at home from the very
first moment you step into our facility! Let us know how we can serve
you better, and we hope to meet you this Sunday!
